Another road accident took place on the National Highway of Agra on Friday evening. A container was dragging a damaged container. A defective container collided with a roadways contracted bus parked at ISBT cut to board passengers. Due to this the bus collided with the Bhadawar depot bus parked ahead. More than 15 passengers on the bus were injured. There was shouting. The drivers parked the containers and ran away. On the other hand, Hariparvat police station and traffic police reached the information. The injured people were admitted to the hospital. Due to the accident, there was a jam on the highway for 45 minutes.

The incident occurred around 4:30 pm. The contracted roadways bus was going from Firozabad to Mathura. The driver had stopped the bus at ISBT cut to board the passengers. Just then the bus from Bhadawar depot stopped ahead. There were 15 people in it. A container suddenly came from Khandari flyover pulling the damaged container and went out of control after landing from the bridge.

The defective container collided with the contracted bus. The collision was so severe that the bus rammed into the bus parked ahead. Due to this, the people traveling in the buses jumped and fell. Vehicles stopped on the highway also. The drivers of the container abandoned the vehicles and ran away. Police arrived on information. The injured Ramchand, Lala, Mohammad Shamshad, Gautam, Saif, Sanjay Prakash, Mohammad Shoaib were given first aid in the hospital by the police.

Ramchand remained stranded for 20 minutes

Ramchandra, who was traveling in the contracted bus, was sitting behind the driver’s seat. His foot got stuck. Due to this there was a delay in removing him from the bus. The police had to make a lot of efforts. He was screaming in pain. Later it could be extracted somehow. His mobile was also lost. On the other hand, Shamshad, who was going with his wife, got injured in his hand. Bhadawar depot driver Devendra was also injured. He said that there were 20 people traveling in the bus who suffered minor injuries. People were sent to their destination by another bus.

The accident took place a few steps away from the police post at ISBT. Traffic police reached after the incident. But, it took time for the police to arrive from the post. After 20 minutes two soldiers came. There was traffic jam on the highway due to containers and buses parked there. Later the soldiers called a crane. After this the buses and containers could be removed from the road.

Truck broke down on Bhagwan Talkies also

After the accident in the evening, a container at the Gurudwara was damaged. When it was removed, a truck broke down at Bhagwan Talkies flyover at 8 pm. Due to this, traffic jam started. Police reached on information. Another crane was then called and the truck could be moved out of the way. People had to face problems for about 30 minutes.

Illegal stand became the reason for the accident

A large number of people gathered after the accident. People traveling in the buses were injured after falling. People who came to help took out the injured. Gave them water bottles. After this the police took him to the hospital. People said that the drivers board the passengers after parking the vehicles on the highway itself. There is always a risk of accident due to this. Police have launched operations several times. But there is no stop to the illegal stands.
